Hear what readers have to say about America’s Revolutionary Experiment Book Series
I’m a history nut, so it’s safe to say I’ve read my fair share of books. I can confidently say that America’s Revolutionary Experiment is in a league of its own. It starts out strong with the first book in the series and carries the momentum from there. There’s some good historical context here which makes for an interesting read with some good academic value. Definitely a solid recommendation for budding history buffs.
I really liked America’s Revolutionary Experiment. It’s a solid read for anyone with an interest in the founding fathers. My favorite is the 4th book in the series. Thomas Jefferson and James Madison in one room on a syndicated talk show in the year 2100? Yes, please! Steven Johnson, you’ve read my mind. This is everything I wanted in a book and more.
Finally! I’ve been looking for a book that focuses on the great American divide in new ways. Johnson really made my wish come true. His writing really comes to form in the second book. Talking about history is one thing, but talking about your history is another. I’m not close to as knowledgeable to truly appreciate the themes in this book. But what I can grasp is phenomenal. Amazing books!
